The Core business of the Operations group is to frequently and reliably collect information about the customer’s railway, analyse the information and deliver a report of the findings to the customer. The ultimate goal and strategy of the group and company is to provide a complete railway management service to customers around the world.

Our European Pedestrian Team provides NDT inspection services as part of its consultancy operations, which includes training and competency requirements for Sperry personnel and external customers. We are looking for the right person to support the delivery of Non-Destructive Ultrasonic and Electromagnetic training to internal and external parties including the tracking and ordering of Personal Track Safety (PTS) training and associated medicals. This is achieved through the administration, reporting and support to the training team.

The Company follows controlled procedures and policies. This guarantees the quality of the Sperry service and reduces the risk of incidents that directly affect the safety of staff, customers and personnel working with the Sperry equipment.

The European Business has an annual turnover of approximately £17M and tests over 100k miles of track every year. There are 12 Operational Vehicles in the UK and Mainland Europe, and 100+ employees.

**Duties**:

- Generation of training schedules.
- Administration and despatch of joining instructions.
- Maintenance of student training records in accordance with UK GDPR whether through the use of manual filing or electronic means.
- Liaising with training material providers to ensure sufficient and up to date training material is available.
- Raising of and requesting Purchase Orders as required.
- Be the initial point of contact for all training enquiries from external sources.
- Responsible for the timely maintenance of the PTS qualifications for business operatives to ensure compliance with relevant in-country legislations.

Qualifications:

- Qualified to GCSE Grade 5-9, or equivalent, in English Language and Mathematics.
- Previous experience within an office administration role.
- Excellent clerical skills, including filing, data entry, and proofreading.
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft office suite.
- Ability to appropriately question, challenge and improve upon existing processes.
- Appropriate and justified confidence in dealing with staff and customers, at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to demonstrate commitment to a high-quality service provision.

- Working Monday - Friday between 8.30am and 12.30pm. During training periods the incumbent will be required to work on-site.
