We are currently recruiting for three **Food service assistants** to be a part of our integral team at **Loch & Larder, Inverness IV2 3PP**

**What you’ll be doing**

Required to be flexible according to business requirements. The daily focus may vary, however it is expected that activities will typically include the following:

- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Making hot and cold drinks to spec
- Food handling
- Setting up counters and cleaning all areas front and back of house
- Restocking items and stock rotation
- Operating the till and cash handling
- Client focus - providing excellent customer service at all times
- General cleaning of front and back of house
- Sweeping/Mopping and general house keeping to ensure areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times.
- Preparation of any other public facing areas as required
- Undertake relevant training as required of all aspects of the role, including working towards your Food Hygiene Level 2 and Health and Safety Level 2 qualifications.

**Experience**:

- Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
- Good communication skills
- Basic numeracy skills
- An excellent team player with a ‘can do’ attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 0-30 per week

**Salary**: Up to £10.50 per hour
