London, United Kingdom Richmond and Wandsworth Councils Full time

About Us
The Housing Customer Services, Prevention and Solutions Team are looking for a Domestic Abuse Accommodation Co-ordinator to raise the profile of domestic abuse as a priority housing issue in Richmond and Wandsworth Council.

You will act as lead contact for the Greater London Authority (GLA) and the Mayor’s Officer of Policing and Crime (MOPAC) on matters relating to domestic abuse in Richmond and Wandsworth including complying with any requests for information as per Tier 2 duties to the Tier 1 authority under the Domestic Abuse Act and will support the department in improving service delivery through monitoring and creating new comprehensive ways of ensuring survivors are supported through their journey to safety.

This post offers and exciting opportunity for someone who can take the initiative, seize an opportunity and work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external partners.

We have carefully considered agile ways of working to provide the best experience for residents, stakeholders and our staff. Our agile working strategy actively supports and encourages a dynamic work environment and daily working experience. Agile working helps put the needs of our staff at the centre of everything we do, so if specific flexible working arrangements helps you with this, feel free to let us know.

Your wellbeing and the flexible way in which you can work is and will remain a key priority for Richmond and Wandsworth Councils. We want you to thrive and feel empowered in your work
