We are working with our award winning client who are one of the UK’s largest consumer PR and content agencies and they are looking for a **Social Media Strategist** to join their team.

They have offices in London, Belfast, Amsterdam and New York, our team of over 160 employees deliver creative, award-winning work nationally and internationally for big brands. A multi-disciplinary agency, our expertise stretches beyond traditional PR and media relations, into social and digital, influencer partnerships, content creation and more.

**The Role**

This includes identifying target audiences, setting clear KPI’s, building an effective strategy across content and paid digital media, as well as the development of a measurement plan.

This role is based in our Holywood, Northern Ireland office, offering hybrid working where employees have flexibility to work 2/3 days from home and visit the office the remaining days.

**What You'll Do**
- Plan, develop, and implement clients overall social media strategy to support and improve online presence and their overall digital marketing objectives.
- Identify target audiences, setting clear KPIs, as well as development of a measurement plan.
- Create integrated paid social strategies, complimentary to the overall omnichannel approach.
- Work directly with market teams, to implement the global strategy.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports, demonstrating social media’s impact on client’s objectives.
- Build strong relationships with our key clients, becoming a trusted advisor on all things related to social media.
- Keep updated on social media trends, including developments in design, changes to the platforms, changes to how consumers engage with the platforms, etc.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of social media platforms and online regulations, including industry standards, legal frameworks, and optimal practices.

**Skills You'll Have**
- 3 to 5 years of experience in building and executing social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, bench-marking, messaging, and audience identification.
- Understanding of the broader marketing and digital marketing landscape.
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and web analytics tools - including but not limited to: Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Google Analytics.
- A proven track record of delivering measurable impact on clients’ objectives. You’ll have experience in analysing data and deriving key insights - you can interpret data, make decisions based on it and present it back to clients.
- A history of developing A/B tests and other experiments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - you can present and provide feedback to clients, internal teams, and third-party agencies.
- High attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task within a deadline driven atmosphere.
- A self-starter with proven organisational skills that can drive initiatives independently and work collaboratively.
