We are working with a fantastic well known Investment bank who are looking to grow their Customer service team and have an opening for a nNew associate to join.

You will play a key role to ensure BAU and other daily team tasks are completed accurately, on time and to the expected high standards in accordance with operational procedures. Escalates issues and challenges, reports routinely and updates management promptly.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Daily telephone confirmation of manual payments with customers adhering to the banks fraud prevention protocols
- Confirmation of Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs)
- Processing of customer cheques and giros via HSBCNet
- Handling of customer ad-hoc requests for statements and account enquiries
- Processing of Payment related investigations.

**Knowledge**
- Knowledge of Retail banking products such as Cheques, Standing Orders, Direct Debits desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of Commercial payments, CHAPS, BACS, SWIFT, SEPA DD and SEPA CT, Target and all local ACH systems desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of payment related investigations.
- Experience of dealing with and handling customer enquiries.
