We are currently looking to recruit a Caretaker/Handyperson/Maintenance Assistant to work for a friendly secondary school based near Walthamstow, East London.

Hours of work are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

Duties - General Caretaker/Handyperson/Maintenance Assistant duties including opening up and locking up the school, setting the alarm, weekly fire alarm checks, general repairs and maintenance within the school, unblocking sinks/toilets, fixing door/windowhandles, painting and decorating, replacing toilet seats, putting up shelves/pin boards, daily health and safety checks, overseeing Contractors on site, porterage, moving furniture, delivering parcels around the building, litter picking, sweeping up leaves,emptying bins, replenishing supplies around the building eg. Soap, paper towels and hand sanitizer, grounds maintenance and all other duties as required.
