About the role

We are looking for an inspirational SENCo to further develop and lead inclusion and SEN teams within an SEN school setting. You would join a highly committed and experienced team (comprising an Assistant Head, Inclusion coordinator and Family Support Worker) where there is a dedicated office and the chance to work in an excellent working school environment where staff are happy, positive and dedicated.

About the school

The setting is based on the outskirts of the town of Kirkby Lonsdale, with great transport links to the M6 motorway.

They are a large SEN provider for their locality, providing education for students aged 5-19 years old.

All of the students and young people have significant barriers to learning due to their complex learning difficulties and disabilities in the area of autism spectrum disorder, learning difficulties, associated social, emotional and mental health conditions and medical and health issues.

**Requirements**:
**To be considered for the role of SENCo you will**:
Have SENCo Qualification or previous experience as a SENCo and be willing to undertake the qualification.
Experience of working with young people.
Have excellent communication skills and an ability to work within a team.
Have effective behaviour management.
Have IT and data management skills.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Holding a SENCo qualification and relevant experience within the role.
