We are currently seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to provide invaluable support to children with diverse learning needs in a SEND school located in Kirkby.

**Role Overview**:
As an Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised support to children with _moderate to severe learning difficulties_. You will work closely with classroom teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored learning plans, facilitate educational activities, and create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Assisting with classroom activities and ensuring students remain engaged.
- Implementing behaviour management strategies to address challenging behaviour effectively.
- Supporting students with personal care and mobility needs, where necessary.
- Collaborating with the wider school team to promote an inclusive learning environment.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a SEND setting, preferably with children with moderate to severe learning difficulties.
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviour and implementing behaviour management techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
- Availability to work full-time during school hours.
