Job Title: Primary Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated professional to provide tailored support to a Year 6 pupil, helping them thrive academically and personally in a part-time role. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a primary school setting, ideally supporting Key Stage 2 pupils, and knowledge of strategies for supporting children with additional needs.

The successful candidate will be patient, empathetic, and flexible, with strong communication skills to work effectively with the class teacher, SENCO, and other staff. They will assist in implementing tailored strategies and interventions designed to help the pupil succeed, while encouraging independence and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to a Year 6 pupil, ensuring their individual learning and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist in implementing tailored strategies and interventions designed to help the pupil succeed.
  • Collaborate closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other staff to deliver a consistent and effective support plan.

Salary: Competitive, based on experience (approximately £15-18 per hour)
