Scunthorpe, United Kingdom North Lincolnshire Council Full time

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team supporting our external Health and Social Care regulated services across North Lincolnshire. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join The Provider Management Team.

In this fast-paced environment, you will have line management responsibilities for team members conducting brokerage duties, contract management of external services, approving service requests and using data to inform contract management and future commissioning of services.

To ensure that an effective and reactive service is attained you will need excellent communication and negotiation skills. This role is primarily concerned with the completion and management of local authority external contracts. Good organisational skills, and the ability to work in a structured manner are therefore a necessity.

As a Provider Management Officer, you will lead the contractual management of external services with CQC regulated care providers from across the North Lincolnshire area, to fulfil the care needs of vulnerable people. You will be confident at talking to a wide range of Health and social work professionals, internal and external, to enable the brokerage of appropriate services.

Frequently, you may be required to support the production of data analysis, report writing and other projects that commonly contribute to the overarching assurance of the contractual arrangement, as well as informing the future of service provision. You must therefore be open to adopting new working practices, handling data related tasks and adjusting to software that you may have not previously used.

If you wish to find out more about this role please contact Naomi Barnard
- Lead Officer, Care Sector Development on 01724 297171 for an informal discussion.

We are collectively organised around the people and place of North Lincolnshire. Together we ensure that our communities are safe, well, prosperous and connected.
