Training Area Operative

Job Introduction
Landmarc Support Services are currently seeking for a Training Area Operative - Rural to join the team at Brunswick Training Camp in Surrey.
As the Training Area Operative -Rural you will be responsible for carrying out tasks across the estate, using tractor’s and other rural plant machinery. We are looking for someone who has experience in operating tractors to assist the team with a wide range of tasks to ensure the estate is well maintained and fit for use.
This role is being offered on a permanent basis, covering 37 hours a week from Monday - Friday.
Main Responsibilities
Carry out rural tasks across the estate, using tractor with mowers and sidearm attachment
To assist the rural team with a wide range of tasks including; forestry and arborical work, track and fencing repairs
Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Maintenance of tractors and other farming equipment
Carry out any other additional tasks as required
Excellent knowledge for Health & Safety, manual handling and safe systems of work
Experience and qualifications in operating tractors with agricultural attachments 3-point linkage
Experience and knowledge of working in the conservation and agricultural sector
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Good map reading and IT skills
Must hold a full valid UK driving licence (essential)
