**About the role**:
Perched in the village of Crawfordsburn with fabulous views of the country park, The Old Inn is the perfect rural retreat. A new addition to the Galgorm Collection family this beautiful hotel is located just 10 minutes from Belfast and 5 minutes from the seaside town of Bangor. The Old Inn will be bursting with character - think cosy corners, log fires, mini spa, glorious grub, and elegant interiors

This beautiful hotel is home to 32 uniquely designed bedrooms. We a seeking an organised Housekeeping Supervisor to help manage a small team of Housekeeping assistants. Your main role will be to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely fashion and all rooms and public areas are ready for guests to check in and enjoy throughout their stay. This will be a very busy role that requires excellent time management and communication skills. We are seeking someone with really good motivational skills who can get the best performance out of their team. If you believe you are up for the challenge then we would love to hear from you

**The main duties of this role include but are not limited to;**
- Cleaning and servicing the hotel as directed by the Accommodation Manager.
- Supervise your team and provide a clear schedule of their daily duties.
- Assisting in training and development of housekeeping staff.
- Spot checking 32 rooms and all public areas daily ensuring all are clean and serviced to the correct high standards.
- Ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all cleaning machinery.
- Being fully conversant and comply with the health, safety, hygiene, fire, and security regulations and procedures of the hotel and ensuring others are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
- Interacting with guests and complete any requests dealing tactfully, promptly, and discreetly with any problems or complaints.
- To carry out any other duties as requested by department heads or management.

**The Person**:
**Applicants must**:

- Have at least 1-year housekeeping experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory/managerial experience within the hospitality sector.
- Hold adequte ICT skills.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Have great attention to detail.
- Display a flexible work approach.
