**SALARY**: £11.42 per hour with a payscale in place increasing to £12.42 per hour after 6 months

**About the role**:
Nestled in the charming village of Crawsfordsburn, located just 15 minutes from Belfast and 5 minutes from the seaside town of Bangor.

As an Early Morning Cleaner, you will join a dedicated hard-working team working together to ensure all public areas of the hotel are clean and tidy and ready for our guests, including restaurants, bars, function rooms, the Tree Top Spa, reception, and front of house areas. The successful applicant will have a hard-working attitude, enjoy working as part of a team, and have a keen eye for detail. If you think you have what we are looking for please get in touch

**Main duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Cleaning and servicing the hotel as directed by Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Manager
- Complete tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures plus a variety of other cleaning tasks.
- Using disinfectants and steam-operated sterilizers.
- Adhering to all safety and personal protective equipment, practices, and procedures.
- Working within the guidelines of Health, Safety, Fire, and Hygiene operatives to ensure all staff and guests are safe at all times.
- Maintaining clear, efficient communication with the front-of-house team ensuring rooms and public areas are serviced in a timely fashion ready for our hotel guests.
- Operating cleaning machines such as buffering machines, carpet cleaning machines, and steamers. (Full training provided) Machinery only used at times.

**Applicant Criteria**:

- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Work well under pressure and be an excellent team player.
- Must be able to take their own initiative and work independently.
- Previous hospitality experience (desirable).
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (desirable).

**Please be aware that this role requires an element of manual handling.**
