As SVAT continues to grow and expand our footprint in the UK, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team.

We are looking for an innovative and driven** Fleet Control Professional** to join our collaborative and friendly team in Clydebank, Glasgow. In this role you will play an integral part within the GAP Hire Team, providing guidance, and hands-on support to the fleet team.

**Key tasks and responsibilities**:

- Actively involved in the fleet planning/infleeting. Ensuring that the right vehicles are in the right place at the right time
- Handle all administration of V5 and tax documentation
- Generate job cards in liaison with vehicle conversion team for job completions
- Responsible for all in-fleeting activities including timely new vehicle acceptance according to fleet planning, vehicle preparation, installation of trackers, loose items etc
- Check supplier invoices ready for payment and create vehicle assets inventory
- Support all operational tasks in the fleet team and ensure their success
(In-fleeting, vehicle management and ad hoc tasks related to fleet at branches)
- Optimise internal processes and creating efficiencies
- Assist in the delivery of the management reporting and analysis to constantly monitor, analyse, and optimise Fleet related processes
- Project support and management of projects arising from all fleet, maintenance, and repair topics
- Work on fleet optimization projects to achieve cost savings and efficiency gains
- Work closely with all PDI sites ensuring correct vehicle preparation
- Support the operations team and branch network with ad hoc fleet related queries

- Experience in fleet management is a desirable
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Solution orientated and with the desire to problem solve
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Excellent level of numeracy
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- Flexible attitude and willing to cover for other team members absence is essential
