**Job Title**: Community Fundraiser

**Reports to**: Head of Community Operations

**Salary**: £23,514.40 pa

**Job Type**: Full time, permanent

**Location**: North Yorkshire wide (occasional office based work in our offices in Burton Leonard **or** Pocklington)

**Hours of Work**: 35 hours per week

**Essential**: A full driving license and access to personal vehicle (mileage is paid)

Dementia Forward are looking for someone energetic, enthusiastic and innovative to join our growing Community Team. This job will allow you to travel across North Yorkshire; making a difference in our local communities, being part of fun and exciting fundraising events and interacting with people who love to support our charity.

As Community Fundraiser you will be involved in the development, planning and supporting of fundraising events and activities, inspiring new donors and maintaining relationships with existing supporters. You will raise awareness of Dementia Forward at local levels and carry out administration tasks to continue communication with donors. As a team, we are required to generate the income needed to keep up with growing demand for dementia support in North Yorkshire and York.

Previous experience is an advantage but we can support you to become a great fundraiser if you have the right energy and mindset.
