Worker Type: Employee

Support internal and external customers by triaging inbound post for new claims, processing correspondence. Using partly automated processes including effectively managing exceptions, and making sure accurate records are produced and logged.

Data entry from multiple external and internal systems into the claims management and other systems.

Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with QBE policies, procedures and relevant legislations
- Maintain product, system and process knowledge
- Maintain effective communication with customers/stakeholders
- Create basic reports and handling of exception reports
- Work with stakeholders to maximize opportunities, and achieve operations and service targets
- Assist in processing insurance claims
- Action written response correspondence as appropriate
- Liaise with stakeholders regarding claims to ensure the best outcomes for our customers
- Entering key data accurately on Excel and in-house systems
- Working with automated assisted processes
- Understand the technical language used in documents and interpret the meaning
- Put the customer at the forefront of everything we do

Required Qualifications
- Maths and English GCSE level or equivalent.
