UK Digital Underwriting Assistant

Chelmsford | full-time

1. Purpose

To provide a high quality and effective, technical and administrative support to Underwriters, working within UK Digital, liaising with Underwriters and providing a prompt service using the company’s systems and internal processes to meet brokers and clients’ needs.

- Hit SLA’s as set by Senior E-Trade Analyst

3. Key Result Areas/ Responsibilities
- Administration support_
- Phone hunt group maintenance /updates
- Underwriting support_
- Assist underwriters with accounts queries
- Create and send CCE to brokers
- Process Index linking figures monthly
- Process ARAG reports
- Cancellations_
- Fleet cancellations
- Property cancellations
- Claims_
- Process daily claims reports received from Davies (our claims TPA)
- Process Acturis claims upload daily
- Manage claims upload failures
- MID_
- Upload reports to MID via MDS
- Upload receipt checking
- Manage MID error and warnings
- Reply to MID FPN disputes
- ELTO_
- Upload reports to the ELD
- ERN chasing
- Agency_
- Set up new users / delete users on ePlace
- Process agency transfers on Acturis
- Action monthly agency updates report
- Update broker overview report
- Sanctions_
- Upload weekly report
- Run & distribute AML reports
- Any other tasks as directed by the E-Trade Manager._

Whilst conducting our business it is always of importance that we balance the outward facing business needs with the internal regulatory requirements which must be adhered to within each operating entity.

5. Key Competencies:

- Insurance experience providing technical and administrative support within the classes of commercial combined/property/package/motor/casualty
- Use of computerised systems to process policies and documentation.
- IT literate. Fast accurate data entry and processing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
