**Role**: Senior Digital Content and Marketing Officer

**Location of Role**: Carnbane, Newry

**Rule Purpose**: Responsible for the delivery of Digital Marketing content for both Retail and Wholesale Marketing, supporting offline Marketing and driving awareness and engagement across web and socials, as well as the creation and deployment of a range of multimedia assets including video, photography and audio files.

**About The Role**

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the creation, development and distribution of content across a wide range of digital and social channels
- Utilize third-party platforms to support both brand and retailers with social media efforts
- Bring ideas of how we can create standout content that inspires and engages our target audience across wholesale and retail
- Employ a variety of Market Research methods to keep the audiences at the centre
- Planning and development of social media presence across both retail and Wholesale
- Define and execute the marketing and comms activities according to the overall brand plans
- Ability to work alongside agencies in planning ahead to ensure primed and ready for execution
- Produce engaging digital content and resources for use in line with the marketing across web, social, and other marketing channels
- Storyboard, self-shoot and edit video content to support day-to-day activities and Marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of CMS’s to ensure brand websites are regularly updated and responsive to customer needs
- Execute and monitor the performance of all e-marketing campaigns in line with brand objectives
- Produce engaging digital content and resources for use across the website, ranging from video, photography, graphics, audio and other multimedia for digital channels to support day-to-day activities
- Establish briefs, present roughs, visuals, research and manage production, self-shoot and deliver content on time and budget
- Build effective relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders to establish new content and different channels for content creation
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals across web and digital
- Produce monthly reports based on digital marketing activity and recommendations for going forward
- Work with Brand Marketing Lead to identify new opportunities and pilot new digital content campaigns
- Attendance at events and campaign launches will be paramount for video and photography capture
- Keep-up-to date with trends and developments in digital content
- Provide training and support to staff in creating and sourcing content effectively
- Complete understanding of a digital budget to ensure marketing spend is utilized effectively
- Supporting in digital communications to wider teams
- To act as an ambassador for both Nearby and S&W brand
- To work effectively and efficiently as part of a marketing team
- Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate by your immediate manager

**Required Criteria**
- Third Level qualification in Marketing/Digital Marketing or closely related field with a minimum of 3 years Marketing Experience OR 5 years minimum experience in Digital Marketing
- Significant experience in formulating, leading and evaluating multi-channel content marketing strategies that cover digital channels and social media for different target audiences
- Educated to at a minimum of GCSE Level or equivalent with Grade C in GCSE Maths / English
- Excellent proofreading and copyediting skills
- Ability to work flexibly, on own initiative or as part of a team.
- Ability to plan strategically and with a result orientated approach
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office packages
- Highly proficient in Adobe packages for content creation
- Highly proficient in use of videography and photography
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
- Ability to analyse results of campaigns to gauge success and guide future marketing plans.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills - Excellent attention to detail
- Willing to undertake staff training and development as required.
- Ability to manage, protect and utilize company electronics including camera, videography and equipment to make effective content marketing campaigns
