- Assists by providing necessary patron housing laundry services.
- Sees that sufficient laundry material is on hand to supply patrons.
- Folds all patron housing laundry.
- Operates commercial laundry equipment. Spot cleans clothing with appropriate cleaners and solutions and assists with steam pressing.
- Sorts soiled clothing and keeps work area neat, clean and orderly.
- Performs daily preventative maintenance on laundry equipment such as routine cleaning of machinery, filters, vents and screens, etc. and performs other related duties as assigned.
- Experience with laundry equipment helpful.
- Must be able to lift 20 kilos; bend, kneel, stoop, pull, push and perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced work environment;
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
