**Job summary**:
Defra Group Property is responsible for providing fit for purpose and value-added estates and facilities management services to the entire Defra Group Network.

Defra has properties across the country and are split into Regions and Hubs.

This role will be based at a main office location and travel to other sites in the hub will be required.

**Job description**:
This is an interesting and varied role where you will be part of a team that manages the FM delivery at a number of sites in a geographic location. You will to be a hardworking and an enthusiastic individual who can work well as a team and independently. You will also have to hold a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

**The Post Holder will be required to**:

- Carry out compliance checks for environmental, health, safety and legislative standards and service levels.
- Plan and manage maintenance works - both planned preventative (PPMs) as well as reactive works.
- Manage FM contractors and suppliers on site.
- Carry out delegated Site Responsible Officer tasks at specific properties as agreed with the Site Responsible Officer.
- Support the delivery of Projects.
- Act as a point of contact for customers.

**Person specification**:

- Experience in a Customer Service or Facilities Management related role.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.
- Maintaining good relationships with contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
