Wirral, United Kingdom Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Our Midwives have a passionate philosophy for promoting individualised and high standards of care and birth experiences for all women accessing our Maternity Service. In addition, a further birthing pool within the Delivery Suite provides individualised, holistic care to high-risk women along with a further eight delivery rooms. We have a stand alone community birth centre staffed by the Highfield Team, concentrating on services in the community setting and homebirths. We also have implemented successful Continuity of Care teams with the development of more teams this year.

Encompassed within the unit is a Level 3 Unit for Neonatal Services, Children’s Services and Women’s Unit. We have a reputation for innovation in providing high-quality care to women in a hospital/community setting.
