**Description**:
Pinpoint Resourcing are currently working with a large Insurance company based in Basildon to source an Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis.

**Duties**:

- Logging, maintaining and filing invoices - requesting approval
- Investigating purchase ledger queries and ensuring stakeholders are updated with on-going queries
- Maintaining the accuracy of supplier details, liaising with suppliers and building relationships
- Reconciling supplier statements/bank accounts
- Assisting with queries and reporting
- Requesting copy invoices and statements from suppliers to keep accounts up to date
- Deal with accounts queries promptly and efficiently
- Providing timely information to other members of the Accounts team and the wider firm

**Skills and abilities needed**:

- Attention to detail with ability to produce accurate documentation and to file documents appropriately
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Prioritisation and organisational skills and able to work to deadlines
- Self-motivated
- Competent IT skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders

**Salary + additional information**
- £25,000 - £26,000 (depending on experience)
- 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
- Share scheme
