Accounts Clerk

Location - Ipswich

Job Type - Full Time, Permanent

Working Hours - 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday

**Salary**: depending on experience £20,000 - £22,000

Our client EPPH Ltd is hiring. Due to the continued expansion of the business, they require an Accounts Clerk in their accounts department.

**The Role - Accounts Clerk**

**Responsibilities - Accounts Clerk**
- Process purchase invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
- Set up new supplier/customer accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Prepare summarise and pay purchase invoices
- Process business expense returns, petty cash/ credit card.
- Cashbook/daily updates and monthly bank reconciliation and credit cards reconciliation
- Payment allocations on to sage, with precision and recording retention deductions
- Assist in preparation of CIS payments and monthly return
- Other ad hoc duties
- Bookkeeping experience
- Great interpersonal and communications skills
- Self-discipline
- Good team working skills
- The ability to work to monthly deadlines
- An aptitude for IT - knowledge of software packages like Excel, Sage and BACS
- Adaptable
