**Design & Marketing Assistant
- Caledonian House, West Kinfauns - 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm**

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Marketing Team for a Design & Marketing Assistant based at our Head Office in West Kinfauns, Perth.

A strong and confident communicator with creative flair is needed in order to communicate your ideas with confidence. We require someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage and prioritise tasks, while maintaining strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.

The Assistant will build strong relationships with customers and suppliers and will write copy, update promotional outlets including website, literature, and customer quotes, ensuring lead times are established in line with set completion deadlines.

This is a hands on role that will offer the successful applicant exposure to a busy, dynamic and growing business across a variety of industries.

You will assist with building brand awareness and growing our reach across both traditional and digital channels. There will be elements of both Marketing and Design work, so qualifications in either field will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and marketing of the Morris Leslie brand, ensuring all communications comply with the company brand guidelines.
- Providing Sales Support to the Sales Teams, producing accurate quotes and tender documents as required.
- Writing copy and content for website, social media, printed marketing collateral and online campaigns.
- Regularly update company websites with news stories, job vacancies, and product updates.
- Design and update marketing materials to include brochures, flyers, stationary and other promotional material.
- Assist with Social Media Activities
- Plan and book regular advertising campaigns, creating advertising copy and liaising with divisional heads to ensure accuracy of content.
- Order and manage branded company merchandise, distributing to the sales team as required.
- Assist with project management of Trade Shows, Exhibitions, and events.

**What you’ll need**:
Essential:

- Confident communicator with a creative mindset.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Copywriting skills.
- Excellent IT Skills, confident in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Qualification in Marketing or Design.

Desirable:

- Experience and working knowledge of inDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Experience in the creation and monitoring of Google Ad Campaigns.
- Experience of working with Wordpress.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics.

**Salary**:
Circa £22,000 per annum depending on experience.
