**M**AIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE **& **RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS**:
As a Product Owner within the Smart Audit product team, you will be responsible for gathering and prioritizing requirements to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met and exceeded, so that we maintain our momentum and leading market position. You will be working closely with customers, development, sales, pre-sales, marketing, professional services and supported by a well-qualified and expert team, in the leading Workday partner for automated testing and other associated products and services.

This position offers opportunities for the right individual to grow their career within the Kainos Smart business or in the wider Kainos business.
- Have experience as a product owner in an Agile software development environment.
- Deliver the product roadmap for your functional area/s, this will include:

- Always starting with “why” via clear problem definitions so that the solutions we build deliver value to our clients.
- Feel comfortable capturing requirements from multiple internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Create clear and actionable user stories so that our development teams are enabled to build the best possible solutions for our clients.
- Make data driven decisions to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Manage and priorities the backlog to ensure goals are met.
- Be accountable for defing the mínimal viable product (MVP).
- Identify success criteria and measure this for each roadmap deliverable.
- Measure, track and improve non-functional aspects of the product.
- Be comfortable challenging the status-quo to meet your objectives.
- Deliver ROI for Kainos via optimizing the value of development effort.
- Sustain and cultivate the right relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support sales and customer facing technical discussions.
- Be flexible to travel if required to customer and partner locations worldwide.

**Minimum (essential) requirements**:

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a product owner, managing backlog, working with development teams, and building product roadmaps.
- You will need an eye for detail, particularly to interpret supplied information and understand sources and challenge where necessary.
- A passion for user experience and experience in working on customer facing products.
- Comfortable engaging with customers to understand requirements and support functional or technical product discussions.
- The ability to communicate effectively with the team and external stakeholders.

**Desirable**:

- Experience working in a SaaS product environment.
