A very exiting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced, skilled and enthusiastic individual to join the expanding management team within Health Protection in Public Health Wales NHS Trust.

The post holder will provide day to day administrative leadership and project support to the PHW Health Protection Team, developing and maintaining outstanding working relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation.

The post holder will work will with mínimal supervision and be expected to work flexibly as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

This role is a secondment or fixed term until 31st March 2024 to meet the needs of the service.

To provide comprehensive project support and administrative coordination to the team; to lead and manage projects; co-ordinate and establish conferences and events; liaise with external agencies and Public Health Wales partners, assist with the technical development of online resources, deliver training and ethically manage self and others

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- Experience of communicating with all levels of professional

staff and the public.
- Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive data

and appropriate maintenance and storage of records.
- Experience of operating Microsoft Office Suite.
- Management information reports.
- Experience of project implementation and monitoring

ongoing projects.
- Experience of managing finance systems e.g. budget monitoring.
- Experience of managing, maintaining and developing

systems and procedures.
- Experience of implementing administrative policies and

procedures
- Experience of producing reports
