**Our team**

The PR and Communications team is highly respected across the legal sector. With a strong track-record of delivering innovative PR and communications campaigns, you will be dealing with some of the world's most high profile business names on behalf of some of the world's top lawyers.

**Role and key responsibilities**

You will play a key role in supporting the PR team to build the firm’s media profile and working with a range of audiences and stakeholders on all PR-related matters. There will be close liaison with senior lawyers and colleagues across international operations, to assist on focused PR and communications campaigns and profile their work to develop and enhance our brand.

**Key Responsibilities**

Report directly to a Senior PR Manager, you will be integral to the firmwide press office function with responsibilities including:

- ** Press office** - supporting the PR team to drive daily proactive and reactive media opportunities with key media for the firm’s practice groups
- ** Writing and planning** - drafting press releases and media briefings, liaising with legal teams and building relationships with key media followers, and working with the firm’s digital team to place effective social media content
- ** International office liaison** - supporting the Director of Communications & Brand, Head of Media Relations and Senior PR Managers to ensure all offices are connected with information and activity that can be used with local media
- ** Crisis communications** - supporting senior team members when handling press enquiries and any media crises scenarios
- ** Monitoring, evaluation and reporting** - supporting on PR evaluation, measurement and the various reporting metrics of your portfoli

**Skills and experience**

The following attributes (although not exhaustive) will be key to making a success of this role:

- A confident and strong communicator, both verbal and written
- Ability to build and maintain relationships within the organisation, with journalists and other external audiences
- A keen interest in current affairs and be able to pro-actively suggest ideas in-line with stories currently at the top of the news agenda
- PR experience in professional services or corporate PR industry is desirable
- Team oriented, flexible and display a consistently positive attitude with a can-do approach
- Innovative and able to put their creative ideas into practice
- Able to work independently, be proactive and highly organised
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and timescales
