An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Diagnostic Imaging Department at the Royal Hospital for Children for a health care support worker to join our team.

We are looking for motivated, supportive and hardworking individual who is committed to assisting the team to deliver a high standard of care to our paediatric patients, their families and carers.

The post holder is required to assist in the delivery of direct and indirect patient care, with and without direct supervision and carry out assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order and safety within the hospital environment.

The Royal Hospital for Children in the largest Children's Hospital in Scotland providing the full range of paediatric diagnostic imaging services. These services include x-ray, Fluoroscopy, MRI, Ultrasound, CT, Nuclear Medicine and Molecular therapy.

Training for all of the specific imaging modalities will be provided to the successful applicant.

This is an extremely rewarding role where you can be proud of the difference you can make to a patients experience.

There is a rotational shift pattern in operation consisting of day and extended working day shifts over 7 days per week.
