The shift pattern for this position is varied and can be predicated over seven days (28.5 hours).

(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

Advanced training for this post is beneficial, for example, attendance at the neonatal cranial ultrasound course, the_ _Graf_ _method for ultrasound_ _classification system for DDH in infants and training for paediatric liver transplant imaging.

The post holder will be responsible for independently performing and reporting a wide range of ultrasound examinations, supervise and train sonographers and radiology registrars who are new to paediatrics.

The hospital opened in June 2015 and is one of the largest paediatric teaching hospitals in the UK and largest in Scotland. Its modern imaging facilities provide local, regional and national care for premature neonates to young adults. There are three dedicated Paediatric ultrasound rooms in the Royal Hospital for Children and portable ultrasound machines.
