Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.30pm

Due to growth and success of the business, they are now seeking an experienced Warehouse/Production Operative to join their diverse friendly and professional team in Scunthorpe assisting them in their mission of preserving food and the planet by offering high quality, eco-friendly products to their customers.
In this position your duties will cover Warehouse - ensure the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse goods. Your duties include taking delivery of shipments, checking goods for damage, or missing items and storing warehouse goods in an organised manner. Accurate picking with attention to presentation and on time dispatch. Production - assisting production to produce a range of products. Loading and operation of production machines. Stacking and palletising products. Ensure product specifications and quality are achieved.
THE ROLE:
Your job as a Warehouse/Production Operative will be to:
Ensure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracy.
Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately.
Ensure that any computerised or automated systems are accurate and up to date.
Identify any systems improvements and make recommendations for change, adjusting existing work procedures and practices.
Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures.
Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Team Leader.
Keeping the warehouse / production environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment.
Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules, and schedules.
Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets.
As a HACCP Operator you will be responsible to maintain product safety, quality, and legality through the requirements of the HACCP plan.
Following orders from the warehouse team leader and sales office requests and working to deadlines.
Loading production machinery and maintaining throughput.
Stacking, palletising, and wrapping of produced products
Receiving goods-in, checking the order, and placing the product into the correct warehouse space.
Deputising the Warehouse Supervisor in his/her absence.
Picking, packing, and assembling orders.
Using Orderwise system to book goods in and despatch orders.
Product Labelling.
Arranging for goods to be loaded / dispatched.
Routing local deliveries efficiently and discussion with drivers.
Using warehouse equipment. (e.g. forklift and pallet truck)
Keeping the stores / production area clean and tidy.
Completing documentation/paperwork.
Use of production equipment and machinery.
All other associated duties as required.
Support Customer Service team in every way possible in delivering world class customer experience.
Hours of work either Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.30pm.
