**Roles and Responsibilities**
- coding using **SAS** & **SQL** (the company use Hadoop, Hive, Impala all on SQL language, and SAS is the main tool).
- Looking after data governance, critical data elements - model and documentation.
- Deal with EDP, Fraud tech team - test and challenge solutions deliver to them.
- Work with data platform owners, when something goes wrong, working to ensure fit for purpose. Check and challenge, the design process. Work with projects as they are implementing the system.
- Keeping taxonomy updated, reporting, and tracking why something hasn't worked
- Deep dive into code transferred across and make efficiencies. Would like to do some data coaching across business across the wider fraud department
- Ensure good documentation
- Line manage 3 to 4 people
