- **Wiltshire Police** - HR Adviser**
- Full time permanent position
- 37 hour working week - Hybrid work environment, a blend of office based and home working
- Based at Police HQ, Devizes
- Salary £32,736pa rising to £34,332pa after qualifying period

Are you a proactive and dynamic generalist HR adviser with the ability to support a large organisation, looking for your next role? Would you like to work in an environment where every day is different? We are currently recruiting an HR Adviser to join our team, supporting our Police Staff and Officers throughout the county. You will use your knowledge of Human Resources, employment law and best practice to support the team. You will have experience of coaching and supporting managers though HR processes and promoting strong employee relations within the force.

**Main duties will include**:

- Working with designated business areas to support on employee relations issues, including but not limited to, attendance, conduct and performance
- Being the first point of contact for your business areas,providing generalist advice, support, and guidance
- Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with all employees and managers
- Upskilling and developing managers, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to support their teams

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Knowledge and experience within a generalist HR or employee relations environment
- Ideally CIPD qualified, or qualified by experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work present information in a clear and concise manner
- Must have the ability to prioritise workload and work autonomously, self-managing and adapting to every changing demands
- A people centred and resilient approach
