The Head of Reward, will develop and execute the reward, benefits, and health & wellbeing strategies and activities that support the delivery of the Care Services (aged care) and Health Services (network of clinics and hospitals) strategic objectives.

**How you’ll help us make health happen**
- Lead the strategic development of the reward strategy and roadmap across both Care Services and Health Services and works closely with reward colleagues across the business to influence and develop the UK reward strategy.
- Provide thought leadership on future reward direction and ensures that reward practices within the client groups reflect Bupa and external best practices, latest thinking and are of the highest quality.
- Work closely with the People Director providing specialist input, advice and delivery of service performance and reward activities to client groups.
- As a member of the People Provision Leadership Team, you’ll play a significant role in helping to shape the People strategies, sharing expertise through guidance and advice while pro-actively developing the capability across the team and beyond.
- Work with the executive teams and key stakeholders across Care Services, Health Services and UK Market Unit to provide expert advice and deliver the best reward programmes, in a strong, influential, capable and consultative manner.
- Lead an effective and engaged Provision Reward Team.
- Effectively consult, support and influence the Provision People Team, managers and senior leaders in reward activity, including cyclical performance activity, annual pay and bonus review process, salary benchmarking/job evaluation and variable pay schemes.
- Take the lead and is accountable for all reward input to key strategic business projects and tactical interventions across the business, working in both formal project teams and agile sprints and workstreams, developing solutions and providing advice.
- Responsible for the design, development and implementation of end-to-end reward and recognition initiatives / projects to support the achievement of the Business Unit objectives, including pay, non-financial reward, incentives and benefits.
- Ensure strong pay governance and controls in place, while continually seeking and acting on feedback.

**Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role**:

- Significant senior and broad experience leading the reward and benefits agenda in a large, complex and fast-paced organisation.
- Demonstrable ability to develop a reward strategy and reward solutions to drive business aims and performance.
- Broad and deep understanding of all elements of reward and benefits and value proposition.
- Strong numerical and analytical experience, with a good attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills, with experience of influencing across all levels of leadership and tailoring approach to suit the audience.
- A confident communicator, adapting styles to suit the audience.
- Strong problem-solving ability, driving decision and solutions that positively impact and align with business goals
- Preferably experienced working with TW or Hay methodologies.
