I am urgently seeking a Credit Controller to join a FTSE registered business based in Chertsey. This roe would suit someone that can start right away and has previous experience of managing companies debtors.

**Client Details**

My client is an international, instantly recongnisable brand. They have a flexible/ hybrid model and offer a great culture. They urgently require a credit controller to join their finance term based in Chertsey

This is initially a temp role, however could get extended/ taken permanently for the right person.

**Description**

The role of Credit Controller will involve:

- To ensure accurate and timely notes are against each customer account in system
- To continually meet the cash collection and debtor day targets as set by the company.
- To proactively manage all customer queries
- Maintain own ledger; ensuring correct details are registered resolving unallocated cash, credit balances and customer refunds
- To ensure daily debtor calls are duly made as part of monthly collection strategy.
- To make decisions regarding customer holds and when litigation processes should begin.
- To work with revenue billing, order authorisation, sales teams, and other internal contacts to ensure correct information is provided to customer.
- To post cash payments onto customer accounts.
- Work with the Team and the Credit Manager on Direct Debit collections and processing.

**Profile**
- Be able to start at short notice and be open to starting as a temp
- Be a clear communicator
- Have good systems skills - Excel and ideally ERP systems
- Be a credit controller that has a track record of managing customers and debtor reports
- Have good critical thinking skills
- Be able to commute to Chertsey 3 days per week
