A premier independent care provider - one of the UK’s top 25 companies to work for in 2021 - is now looking for an **experienced Healthcare Assistant (HCA)** lovingly-refurbished care home in Knaresborough as a **Trainee Care Practitioner**.

Just on the edge of the stunning Yorkshire Dales, the home provides a range of accommodation and services for both older people and people who have physical or brain-related disabilities. It has beautiful gardens and outside spaces for the residents to enjoy,as well as multiple lounges, wellbeing initiatives (such as chiropody, physiotherapy, and massage sessions), and a dedicated area for planned activities - including arts therapies, animal visits, and virtual experiences, alongside regular day trips - to suiteach resident’s own needs and preferences.

As a Trainee Care Practitioner, you will take your Senior HCA experience up a level. You will lead, motivate, and inspire more junior care team members, and work directly with the nursing team to manage residents’ medication, wound and continence care, andphysiological assessments safely and effectively.

This is a **permanent**Trainee Care Practitioner role for 33 hours per week, days only, that gives you access to fantastic learning opportunities and a sector-leading employee benefits package.

**Person specification**:
You **_must_** have a minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a care setting.

You **_must_** have an NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

You **_must_** have GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Grade 4 -9.
