The Sales Support Specialist will play an important role in supporting independent Retail Customers, National Accounts, Sales Agents and Distributors, ensuring the order processing runs smoothly from order placement through to order delivery. Day-to-day the Sales Support Specialist will manage assigned account orders and coordinate packaging and shipping instructions to ensure the business meets the customers’ requirements. This role will also coordinate the exchange of information with Sales Agents to ensure prices, product data and images are available and can be set up with Agents and retailers systems.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Order Management**
- First point of contact for retailers for all supply chain and order queries.
- Process orders and dispatch to the warehouse.
- Coordinate packaging requirements to ensure order is packed to customer requirements.
- Complete Key Account ‘New Product’ set up forms and detailed product information, pricing and shipping dates.
- Complete and check shipping paperwork and correctly invoicing all orders per guidelines.
- Responsible for reviewing customer’s supplier manuals and liaising with other departments and the warehouse to ensure we are compliant.
- Understand testing requirements required by each key account and obtain reports from the production team when required.
- Manage all returns and credit queries and discuss with Accounts on the best method to process transactions.
- Attendance at key European trade shows may be required.

**Inventory Management**
- Organise samples for key accounts and ensure these meet the customers selection deadlines and are re-called where necessary.
- Manage forecast orders by reviewing inventory availability against customer forecasts.

**Communication**
- Support the Sales Director in all account queries and order status.
- Have regular contact with customer merchandising teams to support them on status of orders inventory availability and forecast.
- Work closely with the Team Leader and Sales Support team in the UK.

**General**
- Undertake project work as directed and guided by the Management Team.
- Travel to the trade shows may be required as needed. Associated expenses will be reimbursed according to employment agreement terms.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned.
- Responsible for personal continuous professional development and staying up to date with changing Health & Safety law, best practice and knowledge of company activities.

**Knowledge Areas**

To succeed the Sales Support Specialist must have:

- At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar sales support role working with retailers and key accounts in Europe.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities and cultures.
- Strong problem solving ability
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
- Attention to detail and impeccable organisational skills.
- Flexible approach to work and able to change focus quickly as events demand.
- Proven ability to create and maintain great working relationships at all levels of the company.
- Good working knowledge of Google Docs and Microsoft Office including intermediate level of Excel.
- Experience of Netsuite advantageous.
- Understanding of EDI or comfortable learning new systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English is a critical requirement, knowledge of another European language is ideal, especially French.

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
