**Company Information**
Our client is looking for an individual who has a blood science background wanting to join their innovative diagnostics solutions company. Their products range from blood glucose monitoring systems to advanced molecular diagnostics and are seeking a motivated individual to join their team.
**Role Overview**
This role involves leading account sales strategy within a territory, collaborating with various internal teams and building strong relationships with NHS stakeholders. It requires developing innovative strategies, managing tender procurements, and engaging with decision-makers at all levels. Staying informed about market developments in the NHS landscape is essential to maximizing opportunities and minimising threats.
**Key Duties**
- Lead the account sales strategy and execution for the product portfolio within your territory.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Account Managers, Product Specialists, Managed Laboratory Service Team, and Workflow IT Specialists.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with NHS stakeholders.
- Develop innovative strategies to acquire, grow, and retain business in line with sales objectives.
- Manage and actively contribute to tender procurements.
- Ensure sales methodology is delivered on time and in full, employing self-discipline and creativity.
- Engage with decision-makers at all levels, including senior management.
- Identify market development and changes in the NHS landscape on your territory.
- Maximize opportunities and minimize threats by staying informed about payment, procurement, tendering, and NHS processes.
**Person Specification**
- BSc/BA degree or equivalent, with experience in Blood Sciences.
- Ability to define customer needs and build strong relationships.
- Resilient, adaptable, and flexible in changing environments, with a blend of discipline and creativity.
- Skilled in overcoming barriers to acceptance of new solutions and driving positive sales outcomes.
- Self-motivated, focused, and methodical, able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the team.
- Proficient in using digital sales engagement tools to achieve commercial excellence.
- Valid full driving license required.
