We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Officer to be part of a fantastic organisation in their Tenants Services team. You will be experienced in the field being able to handle confidential and complex issues.
- The role involves travelling to designated properties, scheduling and planning visits with tenants to ensure they are supported.
- Responsibilities include:
- Attend meetings, conferences and evictions
- Record keeping
- Authorise payment of invoices
- Source suppliers such as cleaners, gardeners, maintenance
- Properties are furnished and maintained at a good standard
- Manage all housing management functions for properties/areas allocated
- Tenancy and licence agreements
- Signing up new tenants
- Housing benefit claims
- Referrals
- Service charge budgets
- Audits and inspections

Skills required:
- Ideally possess a Housing qualification or similar
- Experienced in housing management
- Full Driving License and access to your own vehicle
- Strong IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Highly organised
- Excellent time management
