Our client are a rapidly expanding forward thinking Midland based Freight Forwarding company. They provide freight solutions to the UK, Europe and Scandinavia by road and Worldwide destinations by Air and Sea.
Due to continued growth they are offering a fantastic opportunity to join their existing and established Customer Service and CUSTOMS team. The role would ideally suit someone with a ROAD FREIGHT and SEA FREIGHT Freight Forwarding background and experiencecompleting IMPORT and EXPORT customs declarations.
Purpose of Role.
To provide additional support to the Customs Department, increasing both the capacity and capability of the Team.
To offer a new perspective and allowing for further development of their Dedicated, Network Express and Standard Services to existing and new customers.
To be responsible for and arrange transport and logistics in an efficient, effective and creative manner, including the monitoring of job progress and giving/ receiving customer updates.
To build strong and productive relationships with customers to ensure their individual business objectives are achieved and identify areas where they can offer value and improvements.
To ensure they meet and wherever possible exceed customer expectations within the individual customers budgetary and operational restrictions.
To be dedicated to offering existing and new customers the best level of service, consistently performing to high quality of standard and being a team player.
