Are you Level 2 or Level 3 qualified?

Do you have experience supporting children with special needs?

The school
- Based in North Tyneside
- Students are aged from 3 to 18 years old
- Students are diagnosed with physical, medical and sensory needs and MLD
- Students require a high level of support
- Some students require personal care and assistance with feeding

The role
- Full time Teaching Assistant
- Working with either primary or secondary aged student
- Supporting students who are diagnosed with physical, medical and sensory needs and MLD
- Planning and delivering intervention activities for small groups of students
- Positively handling behaviour
- Providing support with feeding and personal care

You
- Will have a minimum of 3 months experience in a school
- Will hold a CACHE Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or higher/equivalent
- Will have previously supported children with special needs
- Will be able to manage any behaviour
- Will be comfortable providing personal care
- Will be experienced in supporting vulnerable people
