Assistant Bookkeeper/project Administrator

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with accounts payable tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and issuing payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting SAGE software
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Provide support during the annual audit process.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
- Assisting with UK and International VAT returns
- Assisting with monthly management and year end accounts preparation
- Attending company meetings

**General administrative duties**
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Administration of client tasks as agreed with the Directors.
- Assisting clients annual conference, including venue booking, registration, speakers, accommodation, catering etc.
- Attendance and minute taking at regular client board meetings.
- Organising and attendance at events in the UK as and when required.
- General office duties, such as filing, answering the telephone.
- Database input.
- Assisting other members of staff as and when required.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
