The global communications team at our Fortune 100 tech client is seeking a smart, thoughtful, collaborative and creative storty researcher who has big, bold goals, a fearless attitude and who thrives at the center of always-on communications. The role will be part of a world-class creative team that uses storytelling in the form of video, articles, news releases, graphics, animation and photography to engage employees and external audiences in the company’s strategy and culture. In this role you will work to uncover and organize stories in Europe, Asia and Latin America about the company, its people, customers and impact on the world. A special interest is in finding human interest stories that tug on one’s heartstrings where the company is the silent partner behind someone changing the world with technology. We are seeking an excellent communicator, who is confident when meeting people, not intimidated by complex technologies and clear about what they are searching for and why. In this role one will come to understand the company’s narrative arc and communications priorities and map the storytelling to them. Knowing the many ways to effectively deliver stories, this person will work closely with reporters, producers, videographers and graphic artists to help deliver the content

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Spotting a good story
- Researching, evaluating and developing stories
- Networking and developing a list of sources in Europe, Asia and Latin America
- Conducting interviews
- Producing clear and concise bi-monthly story documents with sufficient detail
- Simplifying complex information for a non-technical audience
- Making global connections
- Understanding the resources needed to produce a given story, and collaborating back with the department to bring the story to life
- Thinking across audiences and channels

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Demonstrated understanding of what makes a greate story and how to craft a story with an understanding of many storytelling mediums
- Have a strong sense of integrity and professionalism
- A self-starter who assumes responsibility for assignments
- Highly organized and accountable with a strong sense of time management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to understand company’s technology and business strategy and how the company designs and manufactures products
- Efficiency with time, money and resources
- Strong project management skills
- Willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to make and meet deadlines
- Must be comfortable extending yourself to build new relationships and establish trust
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Possess a strong sense of curiosity and excitement about the company and its technology

**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or a related field
- 8+ years’ experience within a large global organization preferred
