Our clients are looking for a **Social Media Officer** to support their team in delivering an exciting programme of campaigning work.

Permanent contract

Part-time role: 18.5 hours per
week

Hybrid working with a minimum
of 1 day in the London office

**About the role**:
The social media officer will
be adept at finding opportunities to reach broader audiences, amplify messages,
build relationships, and engage in innovative debates with opinion leaders and
influencers online.

be an integral member of the current team of 11 working across:

- Content creation, scheduling and channel
management. This will include creating impactful written social media content,
tailored across our social media channels.
- Monitoring social media, including identifying
opportunities to build awareness of our organization and our campaigns.
- Track, analyse, and report on social media
metrics to assess the performance of our content and use insights to make
recommendations for improving engagement and reach.
- Work to develop our online community engagement
and influencer outreach.

They aim to develop a campaigning movement that calls on the general public, policymakers, sector leaders, and the private sector to recognise the value and benefits of good health for all and make sure the things we know shape good health are at the heart of policymaking and practice. This role will work closely with the Senior Communications Manager, Policy & Membership Manager, and Digital & Brand Manager.

**How to apply**:
An interest in and desire to
contribute to improving health. Previous experience in writing and delivering
social media content, working across multiple channels. A strong understanding
of social media platforms and emerging trends, best practices, and algorithms
and how they can be used effectively to meet communications objectives. Skill
for developing engaging and compelling content that emotionally connects with
online audiences, raises awareness of an issue, and moves people to take action.
A strong understanding of the evidence base surrounding health issues in order
to champion evidence in an accurate and compelling way.
