Project Controller
Be part of the QinetiQ journey. Join us as a Project Controller at one of our main sites (either Malvern, Farnborough or Bristol) where you will play a vital role in supporting our UK Intellegence team within projects of national importance.
The role
As a Project Controller, you’ll have a role that is out of the ordinary, supporting test and evaluation capabilities for cyber and security threats.
**Day-to-day, you’ll**:
You'll support in the monitoring and implementing of project design and improvement using project finances and reporting metrics.
Day-to-day you'll manage and control of purchasing, planning, documentation, processing, scheduling, forecasting and reporting within various projects.
You'll provide project support teams and other large and complex strategic programmes.
Working arrangements are full - time with hybrid working (typically three days per week office attendance).
**Essential experience of the Project Controller**:
We value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
You'll undergo training to bring you up to speed with a working knowledge of Project Controls as well as the full project lifecycle.
You'll need previous experience within a similar position, of support where you have been required to engage and liaise with stakeholders.
You'll need excellent communication skills with an analytical and methodical mindset
**Qualifications for the Project Controller**:
The ideal Project Controller will have experience of relevant qualifications including management methodologies such as agile, waterfall, Prince2 or equivalent.
As well as a willingness to learn through training and mentorship.
Please note that all applicants must be eligible for SC clearance, as a minimum.
