The successful applicant will deliver a warm and friendly front of house experience to the members and guests of the Belton Park Golf Club.

**Front of House Persons Duties and Responsibilities include**:

- **Greeting customers on arrival** - Staffing the entrance to the venue and welcoming members and guests as they arrive, before showing them to their seats.
- **Delivering exceptional service** - Exceeding the expectations of members and guests throughout their visit, including taking orders, serving food and drinks, providing recommendations and responding to queries promptly.
- **Resolving complaints** - Handling member and guest complaints directly or escalating to supervisors when needed.
- **Liaising with other teams** - Working closely with team members in other areas of the Club, such as kitchen and bar staff, to create a seamless experience for the customer.

**Skills & Experience**:

- **People skills**:Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to make members and guests feel welcome and well cared for.
- **Teamwork**:The ability to work closely with other team members during a shift and cover for other areas if required.
- **Negotiation**:Addressing member and guest complaints efficiently and effectively to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
- **Organisation skills**:Being able to multi-task and juggle competing priorities throughout a shift.
- **Food and beverage knowledge**:Detailed knowledge of a specific food or beverage function related to the role, for example food or wine.
- **Restaurant/bar operations knowledge**:Understanding of how hospitality venues run on a day-to-day basis including cash handling, staff rostering, opening and closing routines, and food hygiene and cleaning protocols.

Belton Park Golf Club _(founded in 1890)_ is one of the finest golf courses in the East Midlands with 27 challenging and attractive holes set in 240 acres of Parkland in the heart of Lincolnshire. Enjoy superb views of the local National Trust landscape and see an abundance of wildlife including fallow deer which roam the course.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £6.83-£10.42 per hour
