Leicester, United Kingdom University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust Full time

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinic Coordinator to join the ITAPS Anaesthetic Admin Team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as Anaesthetics Review Clinic Coordinator to work Mon-Fri over 4 days on part-time basis hours.

You will be responsible for outpatient Anaesthetic review clinics; this will include all administrative tasks from referral to discharge.

Please ensure you can provide evidence of the required qualifications, as you will be expected to present these at your id check appointment if successful.
- The role involves liaising directly with the Consultant Anaesthetists as well as the various other stakeholders including admin/management staff from surgical specialties, so experience in customer service along with excellent communication skills will be very desirable in this role.
- If you are a highly organised person, would love a challenge and like to keep busy then this is the job for you.
- Regular cross-site working will be required to best meet the service needs and to ensure that the individual is kept up to date with the clinics on each of the sites

We are one of the biggest and busiest NHS trusts in the country, incorporating the General, Glenfield and Royal Infirmary hospitals. We have our very own Children’s Hospital and run one of the country’s leading heart centres.

Our team is made up of more than 17,000 staff providing a range of services primarily for the one million residents of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

We work with partners at the University of Leicester and De Montfort University providing world-class teaching to nurture and develop the next generation of doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals, many of whom go on to spend their working lives with us.

Our purpose is to provide ‘Caring at its best’ and our staff have helped us create a set of values that embody who we are and what we’re here to do. They are:

- We focus on what matters most
- We treat others how we would like to be treated
- We are passionate and creative in our work
- We do what we say we are going to do
- We are one team and we are best when we work together

Our patients are at the heart of all we do and we believe that ‘Caring at its best’ is not just about the treatments and services we provide, but about giving our patients the best possible experience.

**About the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust**: (leicestershospitals.nhs.uk)
- To work within a team ensuring cover is provided at all times to maintain an essential service across the 3 sites.
- To actively participate in the sharing of skills and experience in the clinic team associated with each specialty aiding the spread of good practice throughout the team.
- To attend in-service training or meetings to ensure that skills and knowledge are kept up to date and appropriate to the post.
- To attend all mandatory training as required by the CMG/Trust.
- Any other duties commensurate with the role and service needs.
