**Hours**:40 per week, Monday to Friday; on a rota basis between the hours of 08:00- 17:00.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Executive to join the Elevate Supply team. As a Compliance Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company adheres to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining legal and ethical standards within the organisation.
You will play a pivotal role in driving our digital offering to schools and teachers across England initially.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Be responsible for the vetting and screening process (initial and ongoing) for educators, including background checks, qualifications verification, and compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and assess compliance risks across different business functions and propose mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance issues, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement compliance initiatives and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in laws, regulations, and industry practices that may impact the company's operations.
- Investigate compliance incidents, breaches, or violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies.
- Serve as a point of contact for compliance-related inquiries and communicate compliance requirements effectively.
- Support in the development and implementation of the overall compliance strategy.
**Requirements**:
**We're interested in anyone who meets one, or a combination of the following**:
- 2 years + in customer service or administration type role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in conducting investigations and audits.
- Ethical and professional conduct with a commitment to upholding compliance standards.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO, or industry-specific regulations.
