**Accounts Payable Manager -High Wycombe**

**£35,000 - £40,000 - 25 days holiday + pension + health-care**

**About the role**:
I'm delighted to be supporting our International, market leading AIM listed client, who are seeking to appoint a hands-on, experienced Accounts Payable Manager, for their growing team in High Wycombe.

Ideally you will have gained siilar, hands-on experience in the UK - potentially gained from either an AIM or FTSE listed background for this high growth tech client. Your role will be hands on and varied and will include:

- Manage and supervise the accounts payable department and staff in the UK Finance team (team of 2)
- Be able to offer a hands-on full purchase ledger maintenance; raising PO's, chasing approvals, posting invoices in various currencies of various types of invoices such as vendor invoices, general overhead, subcontractor, employee travel reimbursementsin a timely manner
- Oversee all payment transactions, priority payments, prepare and process weekly BACS and bank payments.
- Ensure that the accounts payable and the company's financial obligations are met efficiently.
- Standardise procedures to generate efficiency in-house and create internal templates to be used by the company.
- Ensure that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to the Group policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness.
- Keep track of the company's financial expenditures, maintain a database and provide reports as and when requested.
- Be active on the customer service front and be quick and accurate with communication.
- Offer continuous improvement to the AP function
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with interim review and year-end audit
- Participate in ad hoc tasks and projects where required

**Skills and experience required**:

- Previous experience in managing an Account Payable function
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Efficient and methodical approach with good attention to detail
- Ability/desire to use own initiative but also know when to seek advice
- The ability to work to monthly deadlines
- IT literate in MS Word and Excel
