**Our client is a global manufacturing organisation who provide bespoke solutions for Commercial and Military sectors. They are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. This is a broad, generalist position, supporting the HR Manager todeliver a pro-active and flexible HR service by providing relevant and appropriate HR support to Line managers and employees, whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with internal company procedures, documented policies and employment legislationat all times.**

- Working closely with the HR Manager, providing operational HR support to line managers and employees.
- Providing pragmatic advice and guidance to line managers and employees on policies, procedures, legislation and best practice ensuring full adherence at all times.
- Ensure visibility across the site, helping to create positive working relationships.
- Supporting the HR manager with training, staff development and succession planning.
- Be actively involved in the recruitment process, liaising with recruitment agencies, preparing job descriptions, conducting interviews and supporting the hiring and onboarding process
- Assist in the roll out of new HR initiatives to support the business strategy
- Assisting the HR Manager with organisational design changes.
- Assisting with ER activity such as carrying out investigations, disciplinary meetings, grievance hearings and flexible working request meetings.
- Carrying out weekly absence review meetings with line managers to ensure staff absence levels are monitored and controlled.
- Update and maintain all employee files.
- Manage the Occupational Health process to include submitting and reviewing management referrals and ensuring that any follow up actions are carried out and communicated in a timely manner.
- Support the apprentice programmes by liaising with line managers and training providers to ensure the apprentice journey is tracked, monitored and reviewed.
- Ensure all payroll information is submitted in a timely manner.
- Generate HR reports and ensure all HR trackers are updated on a weekly basis.
- Any other ad hoc duties as required.

**HR Advisor**
**Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- HR Generalist experience working within a manufacturing/engineering company
- Up-to-date knowledge of current UK employment law and legislation

**HR Advisor
Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent and above qualified
