**About the project**:Digital Confidence Denbighshire is a Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) funded digital inclusion project for Denbighshire. It supports citizens of Denbighshire to develop their digital skills and confidence. The project provides support to ensure that individuals have the skills access and motivation to be confident users of the internet and digital technology. You will be part of a small team offering training and support to develop essential digital skills in Denbighshire.

**Purpose of the role**:You will be responsible for providing training and support to individuals who require assistance in developing essential digital skills. Your role will be to empower learners with the knowledge and confidence to navigate digital tools and technologies effectively.

**Location**: Home based (Denbighshire) with some travel across Wales as required.

**Hours**: 1.6 FTE - Full (35 hours) and part-time hours considered.

**Knowledge/Experience**:
You will have Detailed knowledge of a range of training techniques to engage a variety of different learning styles.

You will have a good awareness of digital technology and its use as an engaging training aid.

You will need knowledge of the digital inclusion agenda and the ability to support communities and citizens to fully engage online, training can be provided in relation to this.

You will also have an awareness of the UK’s essential digital skills framework.

**Skills**:
You will have developed skills in engaging and working with people. This includes public speaking, delivering training and workshops to support both groups and individuals, Virtually and face to face.

You will have developed communication skills and basic creative problem-solving skills.

You will ideally have developed skills in the use of MS PowerPoint, but training can be provided in relation to this if necessary.

You will have developed skills in the creation of training materials, including session outlines, creating presentations, and producing all other training outputs.

You will have basic skills and demonstrable abilities to adjust and adapt to changes and be willing to develop personal skills and knowledge

You will have developed skills in ICT and an ability to use various digital tools to demonstrate the benefit of technology to our clients, although training can be provided in relation to this.

All staff are expected to be able to work independently and as part of a team and organise work to meet multiple deadlines, build effective relationships and use MS Office and online meeting tools.

The ability to communicate fluently in Welsh is desirable for this role.

**Closing Date: 10pm, Monday 4th September 2023.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 15 months
Part-time hours: 21 per week

**Salary**: £30,576.00 per year
